Fine Arts Insurance

The Fine Arts Program covers works of fine art collections that are owned, loaned or borrowed by the University. It provides broader coverage than the All-Risk Property Program coverage. There are three types of Fine Arts Coverage:

  • Permanent Collections
  • Domestic Exhibits - Coverage for shipment of Domestic Exhibits in excess of $500,000 requires two (2) weeks prior approval.
  • Foreign Exhibits - Requires thirty (30) days prior approval.

All requests for coverage and required documentation must be submitted to Insurance and Risk Management (IRM). Coverage must be requested from IRM for all three types of coverage in advance of the effective date.

Submitting Claims

Claims must be reported, within sixty (60) days as a notice to Insurance and Risk Management. To report a claim, complete and submit the Property/Casualty Loss Report Form to the Director of Risk Management or designee. Also submit a copy to our contracted Insurance company.

Please contact our offices for the appropriate forms.
