UCLA and Sedgwick, CMS have partnered with OPTUM as their workers’ compensation pharmacy benefit network (PBN), to provide prescription medications for an employee's work-related injury through their pharmacy network, Tmesys.
This plan requires that medications prescribed for treating an employee's work-related injury can be obtained only from companies or providers specified in the plan.
Please click on the link below for additional information that allows employees to receive injury-related prescription medications at a local pharmacy.
UCLA Occupational Health will provide the employee an OPTUM "First Fill" card at the initial visit so that they may receive prescribed medications with no employee out of pocket cost.
